Taken from the popular mid-2000s SB Email web series on homestarrunner.com, Trogdor was only in a handful of episodes, but it is easily one of the most popular characters from the site. He "burninates peasants" and has one human arm growing out of his left side. The Internet is weird.
The main character of homestarrunner.com, Homestar Runner runs fast and doesn't have arms. It's weird that someone would decide to get this tattoo on their arm, right? It's just really not in the spirit of the character.
NewGrounds.com was, along with Ebaumsworld, one of the main places on the early Internet to watch weird cartoons. They're also known for hosting and creating some pretty fun flash games. The site's creator, Tom Fulp, went on to create a video game company The Behemoth. That tattoo is their logo.
Hostgator Dotcom is the name of a man who offered to have company web addresses tattooed to his face in exchange for money. This is a pretty sound advertising strategy and I will pay upwards of $50 to anyone who gets Guff.com tattooed to their face.*
* - Guff Lawyer here, please stop calling us about this. It is not a real offer!
Is this this company's entire advertising strategy? I'd say it was predatory on people who needed the money if it wasn't also kind of hilarious. Not "haha" hilarious, just weird. I'm very conflicted about this.
I imagine this person was very excited to get this tattoo and then a week later abandoned it for a Tumblr tattoo. Their Wordpress tattoo still exists, though it is largely abandoned; filled with old weird posts from when he was a teenager. He should probably delete it, but he's too attached to the posts to fully let it go. On a completely unrelated note, I should really delete my Wordpress.
