It’s not like kids really suffer from the Monday blues. They don’t have to wake up early every day like most of us do to get on with our day. Still, most kids do go through their own case of the Monday blues when summer is over.
Her excitement is so infectious that a photo of her first day of school pose is now going viral. People are looking at Zoe and rethinking the whole Monday blues thing. Some are even considering crack opening a smile on a Tuesday morning.
Zoe was “excited” to go to school with her brother. Broussard recalled how she told her daughter: “‘OK Zoe. Sam’s gonna go to school now, let’s take a first day of school picture,’ and that’s the pose she gave me.”
“This little girl, she’s only 2, and she is amazing,” Broussard explained. “If you talk to her she holds whole conversations. She responds the correct the way. This baby has been talking since she was 9 months.”
“Right now she’s in a Christian Academy and they’re teaching her a lot of different prayers,” Broussard added. “When we’re at home she puts on the ‘Zoe Show’ and tells us all her prayers she learned and she tells us her ABCs in Spanish and her colors in Spanish.” I feel like this girl might be the next Oprah.
Despite the enthusiasm, her mother knows that this is still preschool. Zoe has elementary school to go through, then high school, then college. Will this girl manage to keep her enthusiasm for school alive?
“Every morning I drop this girl off and she’s excited about going to school,” she explained. Yeah, wait till she wakes up early every day for the next nine months. Maybe then she’ll realize the bed is so much nicer than her teachers.
Zoe’s first day of school photo went viral after Broussard’s niece posted it on Twitter. Now, the mother is trying to take a picture of her daughter before school every day. It might just be the best way to see how this kid goes from super excited to “God, again? Let me sleep!”
