Do you think you and your significant other might get married? Are all of the signs there? Before tying the knot, understand that marriage is a huge commitment. It's not just an excuse to have an epic wedding. You're agreeing to spend the rest of your life with this person, for better or worse. Sadly, most couples don't make it that far.
Marriage is tough. Spending day in and day out with the same person for years can grow exhausting. Communication can break down, resentment might sit in or you may simply fall out of love. There are numerous reasons couples wind up getting divorced. And while you can view a divorce as a positive in some cases, it can make you jaded when it comes to love.
The shoot was conducted by wedding photographer Amber Robinson (pictured). She knows a thing or two about love, as she's not only been to countless weddings but is also a married mother of four children. More incredible yet, she's the daughter of the Brewingtons!
To mark this big anniversary, Robinson took several photos of her parents. She posted them on Facebook and they went viral. The images have been shared over 15,000 times by strangers who are able to feel the love between these two.
Robinson also wrote a beautiful tribute to her parents. Not only is it a wonderful reminder that love exists, but it shows what incredible people they are and how when you find the right person, you can push each other to accomplish anything. She opens by saying, “I never dreamed of my wedding... only dreamed of my 50th wedding anniversary.”
Robinson reminds us that while weddings are special, it's what comes after that truly counts.
"In this wonderful creative industry that I worked in, I focus so much on providing couples with a day of beautiful photography. To be honest, rarely do I stop to think about the day, weeks, months or years that follow a wedding day."
Robinson concludes her tribute with this touching reminder and request.
"If you are one of the millions in love, or maybe one of the millions of brokenhearted that need a visual reminder that love always endures, I would love for you to share this as a way of letting my mom and dad know, they are an inspiration to anyone who wants, believes or is in love."
For those that are in love, take a look at this picture and strive to have your relationship as meaningful and long-lasting as this. And maybe you're not in love or stopped believing in it? This proves that it's out there.
Sure, some couples may seem to be a bit too in love. Those can be the most annoying married people. But after seeing this photoshoot, cut them some slack. When you find a love so true, you should love loud and proud. It can one day inspire others.
