What is Deep Dream (other than fuel for your craziest nightmares)? According to Popular Science, it's a Google-created computer program that uses algorithms and "artificial neuron networks" to find patterns in images when sorting and categorizing, and "sometimes gets things wrong, finding random dog faces, swirls, and hands where there are none." Google called the source code Deep Dream, and made it available to developers who want to produce images like this dog that we wouldn't pet with a 20-foot pole.
