Let's start off with the biggest shoes to fill... Bette Midler's. To follow Bette's performance in pretty much anything is impossible, but if anyone can do it, it's Julianne Moore. Julianne has won one Oscar and has been nominated four other times, so she has the chops and the resume. She also, coincidentally, has the red hair.
Before Sex in the City, Sarah Jessica Parker played Sarah Sanderson, the hot, kinda goofy sister. No one today pulls off hot and kinda goofy like Anna Faris. Plus, I wouldn't be surprise if Faris also has a lucky rat tail.
Max Dennison is a kinda generic protagonist, but he is well-acted in the original by Omri Katz. A young thespian like Sheridan is needed to give this character gravitas. Also, Sheridan already took on Apocalypse in the latest X-Men movie, so three witches shouldn't be a problem.
Dani is the hardest role to cast. A young Thora Birch knocked it out of the park in the original. Farrah MacKenzie, who played Channing Tatum's precocious daughter in Logan Lucky, is definitely up for the task.
