Once inside, the first thing you'll notice is that the years have not been kind to this old shopping center. That's because, after a fire and a tragic accident, the building's roof and top two floors were removed.
Funny thing about having no roof for a decade: Things tend to get a little wet. As you can see here in one of Rockwell's photos published as part of a series by the Telegraph, standing water has completely flooded the mall's basement level.
But, not every story has a happy ending. After Jesse Rockwell's photos went viral in 2013, Bangkok had a new problem: CityLab reported that people kept coming to the mall to feed the fish and take pictures.
The Thai government has no plans on giving the shopping center a new roof. So, in due time, that basement will fill up with water once again. Then, another colony of mosquitoes will breed, and a new hero will be called upon to fix the problem by sneaking in a bucketful of fish.
