If he's "coincidentally" at your favorite coffee shop...and your local grocery store...and "just happens" to take the same elevator as you, there's a good chance that he may be trying to run into you. As long he's not "coincidentally" camping outside your apartment building, take it as a good sign!
If a guy gives you any kind of gift, he probably likes you. If it's something adorable that's related to your interests or an inside joke the two of you share, he definitely likes you. It shows that he's been listening closely to what you've said and wants to impress you.
Next time you're talking, glance down at his feet. If his toes are pointed toward you, it means he's interested in the conversation and not trying to get away. If one or both of his feet are pointed away from you, he may be trying to cut the conversation short and go somewhere else.
Making eye contact is a well-known flirting technique, but in a world that's filled with literally millions of things you could be looking at on your phone, it's more important than ever. If he's ignoring everything around him to make eye contact, you can bet he's into you.
While texting is an excellent, low-pressure flirtation method, a guy who's really interested in you will probably take the time to call. And not only to make a date or confirm plans, but also just to talk. That being said, if he doesn't call, that doesn't necessarily mean he's not interested. Some guys (and girls!) just really, really hate talking on the phone.
7. He DOESN'T Check His Phone When You're Hanging Out
Look, we're all living in today's hyper-connected world, but it's totally possible to spend an evening without looking at your phone every 30 seconds. If your date leaves his phone in his pocket, you know you have his full attention. (If you're also into him, make sure to return the favor and leave your phone in your purse!)
Here's another body language tip: if he's leaning in toward you, it shows he wants to be close to you and is interested in what you have to say. Guys don't normally direct their entire body toward only one person; that kind of behavior is usually reserved for those they're interested in.
It was true in elementary school and it's true now: if a guy teases you, chances are it's because he likes you. As long as the teasing is good-natured and not super annoying, he means it as a compliment. (We know; it doesn't really make sense. Guys can be weird.)
A guy who's interested in pursuing a relationship with you will text you throughout the day; not just at night or first thing in the morning. But don't brush him aside if it's been awhile between texts ”” some people really are legitimately busy and can't text all the time, no matter how twitterpated they are!
11. He Initiates Conversations
That being said, if there is a lag in the communication and he's the one to initiate a new conversation, you can feel pretty confident that he's interested in you and wants to keep talking.
To tell whether his smiles are real or fake, you have to look at his eyes. If his whole face lights up when he sees you or after you tell a joke, he's not faking it and is genuinely happy to be around you.
If a guy is willing to goof around with you, it shows that he has a great sense of humor and that you make him comfortable enough to share it with you. This could definitely mean he's into you and considering taking things to the next level.
