A new Michael Jackson song has been released, and it's great.
1. Brett Nichols dances like MJ at his Turlock, CA school.
Look at this kid dance!
Brett Nichols, of Turlock, CA, put on a performance at his high school's talent show and absolutely blew the roof off the place.
The 3 minute video above is supposed to be a highlight reel for the entire talent rally, but Nichols' performance starts at 1:11 and continues to the end. That's over half the video! It's clear that the rest of the acts just kind of fell to the wayside in comparison.
Nichols claims that he learned these moves by simply watching and mimicking Michael Jackson videos until he got it down perfect.
I, as the world's hugest twenty-something, white, male Michael Jackson fan, have been watching and mimicking him since I was a little kid, and my dancing looks more like Michael Madsen than Michael Jackson. What am I doing wrong? And why is this young whippersnapper showing me up? I've been trying to learn how to moonwalk since I wasn't even old enough to know what the moon WAS, and I still just trip over my own feet and almost break my neck every time. This kid effortlessly busts out a flawless moonwalk like the ghost of MJ has possessed him.
Hey, wait a minute! That's it! This kid is possessed by the spirit of MJ! It all makes sense now! Pssh. "Watched and mimicked him." Nice try, Jacko. We know that's you.
I guess MJ has finally gotten his wish of being a young white kid.
2. Michael Jackson's Moonwalker
Oh, and in case you didn't know this existed...
Here's some footage from a video game that came out in the 90s that featured you playing as MJ himself, running through levels and defeating enemies with magic dance moves while trying to save kidnapped children.
