Well, if you said yes, then Kate Hudson has the workout for you! Kate Hudson is the poster child for being the ultimate sporty-chic chica! Her body is banging, she put Booty Belt on the map and she is the mastermind behind Fabletics.
Fabletics was founded in 2013 and was designed to compete against brands like Lululemon and Nike. It’s a subscription-based digital service that offers a membership to buy clothes. I’m sure you’ve seen the ads on Facebook or Instagram. They are hard to miss because they are everywhere you look!
But while she has been an advocate for healthy living, she has also been pretty vocal about being able to indulge in moderation. In a recent Instagram video, Hudson showed us how to exercise with two bottles of rosé instead of hand weights. Where do we sign up?
When she posted it she captioned the video, “Sometimes you gotta to work for it!” The video also features Hudson's trainer, Nicole Stuart. Stuart can be seen enjoying sips of wine as hudson does her bicep curls. I want a trainer like that.
“ A good reminder not to take things too seriously. Also just because you're working out doesn't mean you can't have a glass of rosé - #moderation is the key. Don't deprive yourself! It takes baby steps to change your habits whether it be quitting smoking or exercise - one day at a time. Love my #rosé.”
In an interview with Vogue in April she talked about her struggles with her skin. Hudson said, “My skin, like my body, it fluctuates. I'll have three good days, and then boom, I've got pimples showing up. I've had a hard time figuring it out.”
After trying some different things, Hudson found that a plant-based diet worked well for her skin. She continued, “When I went vegan last summer, my skin was the best it's ever been — skin tone, pores, everything.”
She even gave the Paleo diet a try. “Then I did Paleo, and what was interesting about Paleo was my skin wasn't as good, but your weight drops.” At the end of the day though, she has always pushed enjoying things in moderation.
Hopefully she indulged in a few glasses of rosé after her rosé workout. Look, it’s good to try to be healthy, but you also need to live your life. Hudson agrees. “But then if I happen to be at a restaurant and they send out a dessert, I'm going to eat the dessert. And if Mario Batali whips up a pasta, I'm not going to say no!”
