Baseball is, for lack of a better term, boring. It's been scientifically proven to be true. In a study done by the Wall Street Journal, a three-hour baseball game has, on average, 17 minutes and 58 seconds worth of action.
The at-bat was apparently a pinch-hitting performance, and what a performance it was. It made the crowd laugh. It made them cry. It was Swan Lake, if Swan Lake was set at a baseball stadium instead of a lake.
What's even more impressive is that this all takes place during a single at-bat, which means his moves are either hypnotizing the pitcher into throwing him exactly what he wants, or... No, there is no other option. That's the only possible reason.
