Since meeting in Fiji in 2016, Jack Morris and Lauren Bullen have been defining #LifeGoals with each photo they post on their respective Instagram accounts. Conveying wanderlust at its best, the social media influencers are living a life most of us can only dream of. Not only that, but they get to earn thousands for the photos they post too.
The man behind one-half of this wanderlust brand is Jack Morris. Originally from Manchester, England, the 26-year-old was a carpet cleaner for five years before booking a spontaneous trip to Bangkok in 2012. Since then, Morris has been documenting his travels on his blog and Instagram account
Do You Travel, with two million followers following along.
The bikini-clad woman behind the flawless photos is Lauren Bullen from Australia. The twenty-three-year-old is a self-taught photographer whose Instagram is the epitome of the gypsy lifestyle. Bullen also has a blog where she posts articles and images related to fashion, lifestyle and obviously, travel.
Brands want social media influencers who can post stunning photos that will garner thousands of likes and comments and this is what this couple is good at. This is why brands and tourism boards are paying Morris and Bullen good money — sometimes up to $9000 — to promote their products or their location through their Instagram shots. The two don’t even have to sell their soul for doing so, as Morris has written on his website how they only choose to promote brands and places they truly believe in.
Morris has written about getting offers from brands way before starting to accept them. In the beginning, Morris writes, he wasn’t looking to make money with his Instagram account or his blog, but things changed when the offers were too good to turn down. Working with brands means being introduced to experiences they would never have thought of doing, Morris explains.
Morris was a lone traveler for the first four years of his Do You Travel journey as he explains on his website. From 2012 to 2016, the guy backpacked his way to several countries, living in hostels and meeting new people. It was in October 2016 when Morris finally got a home base, in Bali, with Lauren.
Even their love story is a #WanderlustGoal, well at least, it’s a #RelationshipGoal. The two met in Fiji on a work gig. Morris writes how they were inseparable from the first day. On the last night, he asked Lauren if she wanted to go to Bali with him and she said yes, staying together ever since.
As with all Instagram influencers, Morris is quick to protect his editing style secrets, only saying that he uses his own Lightroom presets. The couple ensures that their photos are all aesthetically similar and they use a grid to ensure that the photos flow together on Instagram. Morris did say that they shoot most of their photos an hour after sunrise, so there is enough light and because places are quieter during that time of the day.
Living up to their Instagram usernames, Morris and Bullen have touched on every continent. They have been to Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka. There was England, Greece, France and Spain on the European side of things. There was also China, India, the Caribbean Islands and Cambodia.

You would think these two would have a whole entourage to take their photos but according to Morris, it’s just the two of them. Morris has written on his website how he takes Bullen’s photos and she takes his. When it comes to a photo of them together, then they use a tripod. That little piece of triangle sure looks like an investment.
