Just a few days ago, Yaron posted this pic on Instagram and the internet went wild! He is wearing a T-shirt that has a stick figure of woman, like one you would see in a sign for the bathroom. Under it, it says, “Your wife." Then the other picture is of Wonder Woman with “my wife” written below it.
Instagram user hippolyt.a wrote, “take care of this AMAZING WOMAN, gal is such a gem! you can tell by the way she walks in and you can feel this amazing energy that she carries. so so so grateful for her existence. I LOVE THIS WONDER WOMAN!!!!!”
So, it is clear that her fans love her and her husband adores her. And it looks like she adores him right back. On Father’s Day she posted a picture of 12 donuts decorated with the letters for “Best Dad Ever!”
Under the picture she wrote, “To my other half , father of my children and love of my life @jaronvarsano. You are simply the best dad EVER! I couldn’t ask for a better person to be the role model for my babies. You are our anchor, our hero and our heart — love you to the moon and back!”
Gadot and Versano have been married since 2008 and they have two daughters together.
When speaking about family life and being a mother with news.com.au, she said, ”It’s cheesy, but I feel like Wonder Woman when I give birth. When you deliver, you feel like you’re a god. Like, ‘Oh my God, I made this!’ The best thing is to become a mother and to give life.”
But before Wonder Woman and before mother hood, Gadot was already a superhero. She is originally from a small town in Israel where she had dreams of becoming a choreographer. She also thought about studying law.
She started modeling but then left that career to serve in the Israeli army for two years. In the army, she was a combat trainer. This training helped when she booked the role of Gisele in Fast & Furious. She was able to do a lot of her own stunts in the movie. And these skills helped her in Wonder Woman as well.
Wonder Woman has shattered records since it’s opening weekend. Its opening weekend set a new box office record for a female-directed film and earned more than $100 million in the U.S. and $122 million internationally. That’s pretty badass!
Since it’s opening, the movie has now earned $571.8m worldwide. It'll soon pass Logan, making it the fifth-biggest global grosser of the year. It has already surpassed Ant-Man and it will soon surpass every X-Men movie except for Deadpool and X-Men: Days of Future Past.
