Every year since 1991, photographer Zed Nelson has taken a picture of the same family, on the same date, against the same backdrop, with the same lighting. He shoots them with minimal distractions so he can show "the miracle of growth and the changes of time and ageing."
Jumping forward three years, we can really start to see the change in the family. The dad has lost a lot more hair and now requires glasses. The mom has changed hairstyles yet again, and the boy is starting to get into those "awkward years."
The boy has grown up into quite the handsome young man. He now needs glasses too, and even though his parents are looking older and older, I'm glad to see his mom retained her fun, playful sense of style.
