Anna Faris. You might have seen her in the news lately because of her split with Chris Pratt. But before that happened, the two were a power couple. When they first started dating, Faris went over to his place and he gave her a little tour. She looked over and saw that he had a giant African stick bug framed on his wall. She started crying because she collected bugs as well, and they both knew that it was meant to be. Their bedroom was once complete with giant bugs on all of their walls. The two were a great couple when they were together, and they've both spoken out saying that the split was an amicable one.
Whenever she sees the sign, "How's My Driving" on the back of a truck, she has a cute little habit of calling the 1-800 numbers to put in a good word for truckers. Adorable. Those truck drivers didn't even know it, but they received a five star rating from none other than Anna Faris herself. We wonder if she name drops from time to time. A good review is one thing, but a celebrity good review is even better.
Every few months Faris will send her mom a fun vintage postcard of a risque pinup girl with a note on the back like, 'Hey mom — trying to make it as an actress in LA — met this great photographer, and he says I’m going to be a star!'"
She does it to make her mom laugh, but also to embarrass her when the mailman drops it off. And no, you can't sign up to be the mailman to the Faris household. Even with the funny postcard idea, we think it would be a fun place to deliver the mail. She probably gives her mailman a great review. What a pleasant scenario all around.
When she was about 8 years old she wore gloves for three months straight so she wouldn’t be framed if she happened to leave her fingerprints anywhere near a crime scene. What 8-year-old thinks like that!?
When filming her supporting role in Lost in Translation, Bill Murray kept asking Sofia Coppola why he couldn’t have more scenes with her. What an amazing compliment.
Her then-husband Chris Pratt has transformed since they first started dating. From The Office to Guardians Of The Galaxy, he looks completely different. She loved the way he looks, but was happy with his body before. In an interview with Pop Sugar, she said, “It is super sexy, but he’s also hungry….I would love him anyway…I do like a little more meat sometimes, makes me feel like a woman in a sense.” Can we just pretend this is still the universe we live in? That's okay. We will pretend that this is still completely a thing.
When it was laundry day at their house, she used to ask Pratt to empty his pockets so she didn't see anything that she wasn’t supposed to.
"I do not snoop. If I'm going to wash his jeans or pants, I make him clean out his pockets."
We'll stop talking about Chris Pratt now, okay?
Faris auditioned for the role of Claire in Six Feet Under but she was way too funny for the role. The creator, Alan Ball, couldn’t stop laughing through her audition and knew that she wasn’t a fit with the feel of their show.
She landed the role of Erica on Friends because Matthew Perry thought she was amazing in Lost in Translation. It looks like that movie was great for her career.
While she didn’t book Six Feet Under and she is known for her comedic roles, before she did Scary Movie, she was only going out for dramas. When she was cast in Scary Movie, she was surprised because she didn’t even know that she was funny. Her roommate at the time was also shocked and when Faris called her to tell her she said, "That's so weird that you were cast, because you are not funny."
I beg to differ.
While she is one smokin' hot babe, she describes herself as a big dork. Faris was a drama nerd, hardly had any boyfriends and she used to wear a Christmas tree skirt to school as a cape. It looks like she has upped her fashion game since high school.
