Mount Rushmore is as American as it gets. It's one of the most iconic things you picture when you think of the United States. It shows off some of the greatest presidents our nation has ever had.
Our current president is definitely a divisive figure. Only time will tell how much of a success or failure his presidency will be considered. But does he deserve to be on Mount Rushmore? He put the idea out there.
Trump was just joking when he said this. But was he? He has a dubious history of saying things and then later saying he wasn't being serious.
Joking or not, the president has his supporters who are up for the idea. The internet did what the internet does. They reacted, and the results were glorious.
This... is a bit much. But some folks are all for it. Hey, they have their reasons for thinking he's a good president.
How would the faces of Mt. Rushmore react to having a new roommate? This seems accurate. How can they be paired with someone whose hair looks more ridiculous than Washington's powdered wig?
"Nope, we're out. We want no part of this. Yeah, we all have our baggage, but we don't feel like hanging out with someone made of orange rock."
Here's a chilling imagination. Maybe he'd rather put his friend (boss?) on the mountain. It wouldn't surprise too many. He's been very sketchy when it comes to whether or not he colluded with Russia.
Even Nana is chiming in. This is pretty dark, if you think about it. Does she mean she wants literally his actual face up there? That sounds like a threat, ma'am.
Okay, hear this out. Yeah, it'll be an eyesore. But the #Resistance will get what it really wants. And so would Trump. It's a win-win. And you know how much he loves making a good deal.
Some imagine he'd turn it into another hotel. This would be a perfect, luxurious vacation destination. Although, the president doesn't need to take any more vacations.
Someone imagined what would happen if Obama beat him to it. Obama is another divisive president (aren't they all?). But the Twitter meltdown if this actually happened would be glorious.
But is Mt. Rushmore big enough to add Trump? You know he'd want all the spotlight, as this illustration shows. It's always fun seeing how cartoonists depict Donald Trump.
How is every hairstyle an improvement over his real one? Honestly, I wish this were real. Don't let your memes be just dreams, friends.
At least the one-piece would match his skin. Ew, actually, then he'd look like he was naked. Maybe put him in old-timey stripes instead, please.
