Ahhh...sweet, sweet sleep. A good night's sleep is not only crucial to your physical and mental wellbeing, it's just a straight-up wonderful experience. That being said, getting those forty winks can sometimes feel like an eternal struggle. And what you may not know is that the city you're living in may be one of the main causes of why you can't sleep.
A recent study by the website Vaay ranked the cities around the world that give their residents the best night's sleep. The 2020 City Sleep Index uses data pulled from the World Health Organization, Harvard, and the Sleep Foundation on the leading causes for lack of sleep such as mental and physical wellbeing, overwork, stimulant consumption, societal and financial stress, and more. The study then took those factors, based it on an average adult sleep cycle of seven hours, and compiled a list of cities, ranking their sleep quality from best to worst.
Here are the top 22 best cities (a partial list) around the globe to live in to get the best quality slumber....

Starting us off at #22 is Portland, Oregon, with a score of 74.9.

Next up is Helsinki, Finland with a score of 76.4.
