Break in those new flats in only five minutes! Put on a pair of socks, then your shoes. While wiggling your feet, aim the hairdryer on any tight section for a few seconds. Keep the shoes on while they cool, then remove your socks. Repeat until they're stretched to the desired effect.
If you have dirt stubbornly clinging to a pair of suede shoes, you can use a nail file to buff it out.
14. Boar Bristle Brush
Use a boar bristle brush before showering. The boar bristles are good at distributing oils. Use a wide-tooth comb to untangle knots but don't brush when hair is wet. It's more prone to damage and breakage then.
Lemon juice or baking soda can be mixed with water to scrub out armpit stains. Rub a small amount of the baking soda paste on the stain, let it sit for a few minutes, and then try rinsing it off before throwing it in the wash.
