Shelley Gifford, a mum from Melbourne, Australia, decided to take her daughter Grace's daily hair routine to spectacular heights. Every day Gifford transforms her daughter's hair using braids, ribbons and some TLC.
Shelley started braiding her daughter's hair when she was just a toddler. She told the Daily Mail Australiathat Grace is a champion, sitting through the 15-20 minute daily braiding sessions, "She's perfect, she sits so still because she doesn't know any different. It's her morning quiet time."
It wasn't until Shelley discovered the online braiding community that things really started to take off for her and Grace. She signed up for her Facebook and Instagram accounts under the handle Pretty Little Braids.
Where she gets her inspiration? Shelley explained, "I watch a lot of videos, I check a lot of other braiding Instagram accounts. A lot of the time I combine two or three different braids to create a new style."
However, Shelley isn't only doing this for her own gain. She's expanding her empire into holding braiding clinics for other parents who wish to given their sons and daughters hair that will make them feel extra special.
While one could only imagine that she would grow tired from her daily braiding routine, Shelley doesn't show any signs of slowing down any time soon. "It's a passion, I love it, I'm hair obsessed," she said.
