The researchers then used a testing method called "the big five personality test" to measure both the domestic and wild cats' openness to experience, extraversion/introversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness and neuroticism.
Furthermore, apparently the only thing stopping house cats from unleashing their full predatory behavior is their small size. So that means if they were bigger and thought they could easily take you down, well, they probably would. Sorry.
As all seasoned cat owners will know, each kitty has a unique personality and their temperament differs a lot depending on their character. Some cats are more prone to listening to their violent instincts and others will follow you around like a puppy and drape themselves over you like a lazy ball of LOVE.
But whatever you do, stay on guard for those instincts to come out at any given moment. If you spot a mad glint in your kitty's eye, make a move stat and let them spontaneously maul a couch cushion instead.
