Whether you have kids or not, you know that making a decision about what they are going to eat can be excruciating. Going over a menu can lead to tantrums, fighting, flailing and outright war. Then once you get a child to order something, making them eventually eat it is a battle all its own.
3. You're Not Hungry, You're Hungry. Yes? No? WHAT ARE YOU!??!
But a deli in Pennsylvania found the perfect way to advertise to misbehaving children. Its kids menu has items like, “I Don’t Know” (a hot dog with fries), the “I Don’t Care” (chicken tenders with fries), the “I’m Not Hungry” (grilled cheese with fries) and the “I Don’t Want That” (fish sticks with fries).
Now when Mom says, “What do you want to eat?” and the child says, “I’m not hungry,” they are getting a freakin’ grilled cheese with fries, whether they like it or not because that is what they ordered damnit! It’s perfect.
Some comments were written by frustrated parents who could totally relate to the frustration of eating out with children and wanted to add to the menu themselves. One user said, “My kids’ favorites aren’t on there: ‘I hate this’ and ‘I’d rather starve.’” Another user said that their kids liked to order the “Eeeeeeeew!” and “Do you have anything good?”
