It’s not like we don’t have an abundance of beauty trends out there. Wherever your preference lies and whatever your style is, you are sure to find something that will pique your interest. And now, with a new beauty trend going viral, it seems there’s even something for those who aren’t scared of harming of their crotch area.
Now, call me a prude but I find there to be a difference between an unconventional trend and one where you’re risking tearing parts of your crotch area, risking infection or looking like you are peeing jewelry. Black lipstick I can take, hell, I’ll even try it, but jewelry around one of the most delicate areas in a woman’s body sounds crazy to me.
It’s crazy but it’s actually happening. A Japanese company has designed jewelry for women to wear around their crotch area. In a literal translation, you can call this collection of jewelry, “crotch charms.”
Let’s pretend we’re out of our minds for a second. If so, then we’d think that this charm is the perfect summer accessories. No longer do we need huge earrings to accessorize at the beach. We can do without rings or even a sarong. The crotch charm is here to help us take our beach style to another level.
The company was quite unknown. That is until the Daily Mail wrote an article about the jewelry line. Then things sort of went crazy online and news of these charms suddenly went viral. The Daily Mail article alone has been shared more than 20,000 times.
The Daily Mail reports that the company is called BoDivas. The crotch charms are referred to as the “Beachtail.” Appropriate name, although, as I said before, more than a tail, wearing it will probably make people think that you are peeing jewelry.
The charms are not that expensive. They cost $20 each. But that price doesn’t include the doctor’s fee and the ointments if you do contract an infection from the charm. Then things won’t remain charmed anymore.
The charm seems to have been inspired by the layering trend. A season or two ago, layering delicate necklaces AROUND YOUR NECK was the trend. And now, the “Beachtail” seems to be alluding to this same trend but instead of wearing it around the neck, well….
The “Beachtail” shouldn’t be limited to the beach. This is not a piece of jewelry that should only be used to have beach goers look at you and go “huh?” No. You can also wear the piece when you are running around the house in your underwear, as one does.
Or, even better, you can wear the charm with pants or a skirt. Why shouldn’t you go to work knowing that EVERY single part of your body is accessorized? If that’s what you want, then that’s what you must do, damn it!
If for nothing else, wearing the jewelry will have you stand out. Just worn the guy you’re with if things between you start getting more intimate. Look, most guys have mastered the bra and suspenders now. This charm is something new, so be patient.
These include accessories to decorate the chest area and “other private parts.” Basically, if you’re into accessories, you can literally accessorize every part of your body. How keen are you to try the “Beachtail?” Tell us below!
