There's nothing more heartbreaking than unrequited love — especially when your rejection note gets tweeted and goes viral.
A 5th grader named Zoe wrote a scathing note to a classmate named Noah laying down the law. Her stipulations are priceless. Her letter was posted on Twitter by @whosdenverjones.
Entitled "Rules + Regulations," Zoe lays out her do's and don'ts of proper etiquette. "Do not touch my shoulder," she writes. Because nobody likes an unwelcome back rub.
"Do not get behind me with all that playing and foolishness," she writes, then adds, "(Don't get behind me at all)". Good call, Zoe. You give men an inch, they take a mile.
"Do not speak to me unless it's a greeting, which will be never." She takes "don't speak unless you're spoken to" to a whole new level!
"Stop playing with me on the bus." Nobody likes a player!
"I have a short temper with people and you ruin my day because you play 2 much." That's not really a rule, but we'll give it to her anyways.
"Reread 500 times." Wow. She must really want the message to sink in!
"You like me (as a gf) but I don't like you (as a bf) I'm 2 yong young!" Zoe does not give out any mixed signals!
"If you break any of these rules I'm calling my dad, my mom' friend, my fake mom, and a janator [sic] I know!!!!!!" Looks like this girl means business.
"If you ruin my day I'm going to have to go to counseling!!!!" she writes before finishing the letter with, "Stop playing with me!!!!!!"
Whoa. Message received!
The entire letter was posted on Twitter and is worth a read! Even if you're not Noah.
