Not everything from your childhood had distinct, memorable names like "Teddy bear" or "LEGO." Some we just called "Oh, that thing is awesome!" or "COOL!" But they DO have real names!
...are Water Wigglies. Just looking at them makes me want to drop something!
...are all part of a pin screen, AKA: pin art.
AKA: soon to be part of my desk toy entourage.
...is called the Super S Stussy. If your notebook in the '90s didn't have at least five of these drawn on it, were you even a real person?
...is named Niggly Wiggly. To be fair, this has just as much to do with my childhood as it does with my adulthood.
...is a "swing tag." Saving the swing tags made us all millionaires. There were NO problems!
...is a "tush tag." Though, on a human, it's called a "horrible birthmark."
...has a few names! "Mandala Toy," "Magic Loops," and "I want it NOW!"
...is a Clacker. That phantom twitch you feel in your thumb right now is just it remembering the pain (which was totally worth it!).
...are Pop-A-Point Pencils! Admit it, they were your Spacemaker's best friend.
...that metal thing that holds the eraser in a pencil? It's a "ferrule." Yeah, for real.
...is, well, a Plastic Expanding Magic Ball. Sometimes names are pretty straight forward, okay?!
...are Sticky Hands. For when you didn't have enough tickets at Chuck E. Cheese for a Chinese finger trap.
...has a few names! Bead Table, Wooden Bead Roller Coaster or germ magnet (probably).
These words won't exactly show up on the SAT verbal section (unless they finally put ME in charge), but hopefully your life is a little more enriched!
