Additionally, the members of NSYNC had to contend with their rapid rise to fame. Justin was just a teenager when he joined the band and still vividly remembers the time fans chased the band's tour bus down a dirt road in Germany.
It turns out that Justin was at the center of the band's break. “We were on a stadium tour, and I just felt like the whole thing was too big. It started as a fun snowball fight that was becoming an avalanche. And also, I was growing out of it," said Justin.
Creative differences also played a role in the split. Justin explained, “I felt like I cared more about the music than some of the other people in the group. I felt like I had other music I wanted to make, and that I needed to follow my heart.”
If you haven't caught news of Justin lately, then you've been living under a rock. In addition to releasing four best-selling studio albums, Justin has also pursued an acting career, appearing in films such as The Social Network and Bad Teacher. And if you haven't seen his appearances on Saturday Night Live, then you need to go watch them. Immediately.
JC also remained active in the music scene, releasing a solo album in 2004. He's appeared as a guest singer on other artists' albums, including Blues Traveler. JC also works as a songwriter and producer.
