If Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson isn't careful, he may soon be replaced as the most lovable badass in Hollywood. (Yeah, we said it.) It doesn't get much cooler than Jason Momoa. The dude played Khal Drogo on Game Of Thrones and also Conan The Barbarian. Oh, and he also somehow made Aquaman cool. He should win some sort of award for that alone.
Yet, as cool as he is onscreen, he's even more awesome in real life. Just look at that goofy grin. This guy loves his life, and his passion is infectious. He's come a long way from being a young star on Baywatch. Yeah... that was a thing.
How could his life be any better? How about the fact that he's romantically linked to the beautiful and incredible Lisa Bonet? It isn't a fling, either. The couple have been together for over 12 years.
Not only did two of the coolest people alive find each other, but they also have one of the coolest families around. The couple have two children, a 10 year-old daughter named Lola Iolani Momoa and an 8-year-old son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa. Jason Momoa has also been an amazing stepfather to Zoe Kravitz, Bonet's child from her marriage to Lenny Kravitz.
Momoa recently made an appearance on The Late, Late Show with James Corden. While most celebrities use these late night talk show guest spots to plug movies and tell Hollywood stories, Momoa wanted to do something a little bit different. He spent the majority of the time talking about the love of his life.
First of all, he announced that he and Bonet had finally tied the knot. It was rumored they wed long ago, but it was now official. He showed off his wedding ring, and then shared the story of when he knew he loved her.
A very young Momoa saw her on the TV, turned to his mother and said, "I want that one." He admits that he became a bit of a Lisa Bonet stalker from that point on. Although, he didn't tell this to her until after they had their two children.
He also shares the story of the first time they met while at a jazz club. He just happened to be at the right place at the right time. He had dreaded his hair shortly before, which he says he did on the off chance they ever met, so he could impress her.
She actually introduced herself to him. He did his best to play it casually, but when she turned away he squealed with excitement to his friend that was with him. Momoa said there were instant fireworks between them.
Momoa didn't have a car and was living at a hotel at the time. He convinced Bonet to take him home. They stopped to have a drink in the hotel bar. And Momoa knew this was meant to be when she ordered a... wait for it... Guinness.
