Hey! Did you collect Pokemon cards back in the day? I didn't, cause I was too busy making out, but if I did, some would be worth a lot of money! Let's check out the most valuable ones!
You could sell this bad boy for up to $1,400! So do it! Then throw a huge party and become super popular!
This incredibly rare Venusaur Holographic card from 1999 is worth $2,500. That's enough to buy MY friendship, for sure!
What makes this card worth $3,000? It was a misprint from a Magic: The Gathering card set! It's like the quesaritto of nerd cards!
You KNEW Charizard had to be on this list, with this rare first edition going for $4,000.
You know who didn't know Charizard was going to end up on this list? Me. I don't know who Charizard is, but he looks like a bad guy from Power Rangers or something.
This Krabby card is normally worth $2, but because of a rare printing error, this one is on eBay for $5,000!
This is the first time a mistake involving crabs turned out great.
If you won the 2010 Japanese National Pokemon Tournament, you would have received this $10,000 card!
Pokemon was still a thing in 2010. Who knew.
Raichu is what the fat yellow hamster turns into. Or evolves into or something, I don't know. Anyway, this one has an error on it that makes it worth $10,000, or about three times my entire net worth.
I really wish I would have learned more about Raichu back in the day.
Only 12 of these were made, and their release was limited to just Hawaii. If you own one in mint condition, it is worth about $10,000.
Guys, I'm sorry for ever making fun of you. I want to play Pokemon now.
The Trainer No. 1, 2 and 3 cards were awards for the Pokemon competitions and also passes to get in the next year's tournament. There are many different versions, but the rarest ones can go for thousands!
I definitely don't have anything mean-spirited to say about these cards. They seem awesome and I want to collect them all.
Much like the Trainer cards, this Kangaskan card was awarded at the 1998 Japanese Family Event Tournament.
It is now worth $10,000.
WHY DID YOU MAKE ME PLAY BASEBALL, DAD?!
This is another Charizard card. Charizard, as we all know, is a flying/fire Pokemon and is the ultimate form of Charmander. This particular Charizard is an ultra-rare 1995 Holofoil worth $15,000.
Hey guys, I just want you to know that I love Pokemon and will totally play it with you. Just hit me up.
In 1998, Tamamushi University held a Pokemon tournament where this card was awarded. OLD JOE would have mocked those college students mercilessly, but now, I think they're super cool. Mainly, because they have a small piece of cardboard worth $15,000.
This is the Pikachu Illustrator card. It's the only Pokemon card to say "Illustrator" instead of "Trainer." Only six exist. And it's worth $100,000.
For all the non-nerd meatheads who I hate, that's worth like three Camaros. Now stop breathing through your mouth and leave me and my Pokemon friends alone.
