The point of knock-offs is to be at least somewhat convincing. No one on Earth is going to buy these as authentic. Mainly because they don't want to have to make up a story of how these shoe companies merged like an airline.
Let's set aside the fact that "long yellow things" is more letters than "banana." Who doesn't know what a 'banana' is? The same guy who thinks it's too much of a struggle to Google "Long Yellow Things," apparently.
The fact this poster was hung up incorrectly isn't what's astounding. It's the fact you can see it's been faded by the sun, which means it's been hung up incorrectly for a long period of time. Either they never noticed, or, more likely, never cared.
Speaking of Chili's, this looks like the immediate aftermath of someone trying their buffalo nacho sliders. Is that an actual menu item? The fact you didn't even question it proves the plausibility of this scenario.
