DIY-mommy Jennifer Sbranti threw her little munchkin a candy themed birthday party, complete with this framed ice cream artwork, made completely out of Pastel Sixlets candy. That deserve a (sugar) high five!
These squishy stegosauruses are made entirely out of gummy bears. So if you ever wondered why Yogi the Bear could be cold blooded to steal innocent people's picnic baskets, it's actually because he's a reptile. Candy would never lie to us.
Artist Felix Gonzalez-Torres uses candy wrappers to create a unique message. Nineteen of these sculptures can be seen around the world, including this one at the Brooklyn Museum. Visitors are allowed to take the candy, but it's not quite as happy as it sounds. The candy is meant to be a "portrait" of his deceased partner, Ross Laycock. The candy weighs as much as Ross did when he was healthy. As the candy disappears, the museum replenishes it so that the circle of life may continue.
You've heard about gummy bears, but what about bears made out of gum? Italian artist Maurizio Savini sure has. He's also used gum to make a life-size buffalo and a suited businessman suspended in gymnastic poses. We give it a 10/10.
